Opera House screening update

We have sadly encountered a major technical issue with the Opera House projector and sound system. We’ve been working hard to resolve it, but unfortunately have not been able to fix this problem.
– Fashion Reimagined – will now take place in the Baronial Hall, starting 15 minutes later than originally scheduled at 12.15pm
– Cowboy Bebop and Neptune Frost – will now screen in The Pavilion (no time changes)
– Metropolis will move into the Baronial Hall. There will still be a live accompaniment from David Ivory on the organ, however this will not be the Wurlitzer. For those who are interested, we are also including a short post-screening talk and tour of the Opera House Wurlitzer including some ‘behind the scenes’ access.
– Moana will screen in the new Conference Centre. We unfortunately cannot screen the sing along version of the film with on-screen lyrics, but will provide paper song-sheets for anyone who would like to sing.
 
The new locations will be clearly signposted.
 
The following Sunday Opera House screenings have been cancelled:
  • Gentlemen Prefer Blondes
  • 9 1/2
  • Brief Encounter
  • Piccadilly
